In today’s fast-paced world, entrepreneurship has become essential for young people to navigate the complexities of the current economy. It’s not just about starting a business; it's about developing the mindset to identify opportunities, solve problems, and innovate.

Since 2016, I have been committed to fostering this entrepreneurial spirit in young people through my flagship program, Project 1000.

Project 1000 was born out of a desire to help close the unemployment and poverty gaps, by empowering and mentoring 1,000 young prospective entrepreneurs every five years, equipping them with the skills, knowledge, and resources to start and grow their own businesses. This initiative has provided countless young individuals across four African countries with practical training, access to mentorship, and funding opportunities to bring their ideas to life.

My partnerships with teen communities and NGOs across Nigeria have played a crucial role in expanding the reach of this initiative. Together, we have been able to create awareness about the importance of entrepreneurship and inspire a new generation of young innovators.

These collaborations focus on helping young people harness their creativity, build self-reliance, and embrace the possibilities of innovation.

By continuing to promote entrepreneurship, we are not only contributing to economic development but also shaping a future where young people can confidently take control of their destinies.

Through the Project 1000 program, ongoing partnerships, and outreaches,  I have remained committed to supporting young entrepreneurs in Nigeria and beyond.

In the second quarter of 2024, we announced that we are taking a break, due to the fact that we have being underfunded; couple with the turn out of events in the Nigerian economy.

My team and I are hopeful that very soon we will get back to this project, because we need to jumpstart this economy already.

If it has to be, it's up to us!
