The Police Service Commission (PSC) has approved the postings of four Commissioners of Police (CPs) including CP Abaniwonda Olufemi, who was recently moved to Rivers State Police Command but has been returned as CP in charge of Delta State Police Command.
A press statement by PSC Head, Press and Public Relations, Ikechukwu Ani, Wednesday in Abuja, said CP Peter Ukachi Opara has finally been deployed to Cross Rivers State Police Command.
Blueprint reports that CP Opara was earlier deployed to Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command but was moved to Delta State and has now been posted to head the Cross Rivers State Police Command.
The spokesperson also disclosed that CP Mustapha Mohammed Bala from Katsina state has been posted to Rivers State Police Command, while CP Gyogon Augustine Grimah from Nasarawa state has been posted to Kaduna State Police Command.
He said the approval of the postings has been conveyed to the Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Egbetokun l, for implementation in a letter signed by Commission’s Chairman, DIG Hashimu Argungu (retd.).
