Popular philanthropist and Chieftain of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) in Cross River State, Hon Abang Pius Besong aka Ab Amani Jojo, has felicitated with Ikom sons and daughters across the world on the epoch occasion of this year's New Yam festival celebration.
Hon Abang in a goodwill message made available to newsmen, described Ikom as a peace-loving local government and his second home, adding that; Ikom is blessed with fertile land mass for agricultural products.
Hon Abang urges the entire people of Ikom LGA to embrace peace and togetherness among themselves, thereby charging youths to remain law-abiding and shun all forms of violence during the celebration and beyond but to live together in the spirit of brotherhood.
