As Boki sons and daughters across the globe celebrates their New Yam festival today, the CEO of Ab Amani Jojo Global Concept and popular philanthropist, Hon Abang Pius Besong, on behalf of his family and the entire members of his team(Ab Amani Jojo Movement), is celebrating with the entire people on the epoch occasion of this year's New Yam Festival Celebration.
Hon Abang in a goodwill message made available to his media team, thanked God almighty for the wonderful harvest and also extends his profound appreciation to our royal fathers and all stakeholders of Boki, for sustaining the ancient cultural heritage and maintaining its value.
He described the festival as a season of cultural rebirth, re-unity and celebration of the New Yam as the ‘king of crop’, saying that Boki is richly blessed with fertile land for agriculture.
Hon Abang however, urges all sons and daughters of Boki to celebrate the festival in peace, calling for love and unity among sundries as well as charging the youths to desist from all forms of violence and social vices during the period and beyond.
