Popular philanthropist and leader of the largest political movement in Cross River State(Ab Amani Jojo Movement), Hon Abang Pius Besong has congratulated his Excellencies, the newly inuagurated Governor of Cross River State, Sen Prince Bassey Edet Otu, and his Deputy, Rt. Hon. Peter Odey on their successful inauguration on the 29th of May, 2023.

In a congratulatory message made available to his media team and newsmen in Calabar, Hon Abang described Otu’s victory as a true reflection of what majority of Cross Riverians prayed for and not a propagation of injustice against equity and fairness, reiterating that, Otu remains the most competent man for the job to restructure Cross River especially for his laudable track record back days in the Senate and House Of Representatives. He urged the fresh Governor and his led administration to focus on restoring the lost glory of Calabar; the tourism hub of Africa, ensure industries built by the immediate past administration are functional and also create enabling environment for our Agricultural growth.
“I'm looking forward to working with the Governor for a peaceful, prosperous and better Cross River State. I'm very optimistic he will perform well.” –He added
