Sen. Prof. Sandy Ojang Onor, the PDP Governorship candidate in Cross River State is a man of truth and great honour. A rear gem with extraordinary qualities, always ready to speak the truth at all times with robust and unshakable confidence. He’s been tested and trusted in areas of capacity, performance, and a good sense of judgment at different levels of responsibility.

Sen. Onor and the amiable Governor in-waiting does not only stir the process of governance and development but graciously chats the course on the part of progress. The audacity of my conviction of his person is predicated on several references made to his wonderful outings/positions held such as; Chairman of Etung Local Government Area, Chairman of Local Government Service Commission, Cross River State Representative in Confab Abuja, Two terms Commissioner (Ministry of Agricultural and Environment) and currently a powerful voice in the Senate. In each of these levels of responsibility/governance, Distinguished Sen. Onor performed creditably with copious evidence for assessment, ranging from physical infrastructures to human development.

Suffice it to say also that, the name ‘Sandy’ represents peace, progress, equity, and fairness amongst diverse ethnic groups. He is a notable detribalised Nigerian by all intentions and purposes.

You are sincerely assured that the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP umbrella, and our support group, are wide and open enough to receive and accommodate as many as possible, who are yet to join the progressive caterpillar movement for victory and realistic political emancipation in Cross River State.

Therefore, it is in view of these aforesaid measurable qualities that I am motivated to state without equivocation, that Sen. Onor is a blessing to our country Nigeria and Cross River State in particular. Please, let’s join hands and collectively make our Governor.

Recall also that, in his series of consultations and public meetings vis-a-viz the struggle, he has been consistently appealing to all Cross Riverians to see the need for his quality leadership and work with him to take back our dear State and reposition it on its pride of place as the enviable “People’s Paradise”.
