Ikom/Boki Re-run: Hon. Abang Pius Besong reassure constituents on purposeful, people oriented representation

The Flagbearer of the People's Democratic Party, PDP and winner of the just concluded primary Rerun for Ikom/Boki Federal Constituency, Hon. Abang Pius Besong have reassured constituents on his commitment and zeal to purposeful and people oriented representation in the National Assembly, if elected in 2023.

This was contained in an appreciation message duly signed by him and made available by his media team. Below is Abang's appreciation message.

APPRECIATION MESSAGE:

It's my singular honour and privilege to express my profound gratitude to all delegates, delegates owners(DO), stakeholders, my teeming supporters, friends and associates who have done extremely well in ensuring my emergence as winner in the just concluded Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) Rerun for  Ikom/Boki Federal Constituency.
Truly, "It's not of him that willet nor of him that runneth; but of the Lord that showeth mercy."

My appreciation message will not be complete without commending the leadership of our great party(PDP), and panel for ensuring a free, fair and credible election. I'm very indebted for the neutrality you've played during the process and will try my best, to always remain your good ambassador.

To my co-contender,  a very steadfast and fearless politician, you've shown me the relevance of competition, it's for the benefit of our party and dear constituency. The suit instituted by me against your emergence in the earlier conducted primaries was only meant to seek redress for the interest of our people after the process was marred with irregularities, and never to demean your political career.
Your ideas and plans for Ikom/Boki Federal Constituency are wonderful, I solemnly beseech you to sheathe your sword and let's work together collectively in building a better society as one family.

Lastly, I want to reiterate on my commitment and zeal to purposeful and people oriented representation in the National Assembly, if elected as member representating Ikom/Boki Federal Constituency in 2023.
