The Central Chapter of the Cross River State Chapter of National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), has called on youths, stakeholders, elites, political leaders and the general public to come to the aid of the NYCN Central in a bid to achieve the completion of the youth House in Ikom.

The NYCN also resolved issues in various local government executives and coordinators as regarding elections and authenticated leadership.

These two resolutions were made at the one day stakeholders meeting on 4 May, 2022, in Ikom Local Government Area.

Resolutions were reached. 

1. Completion of the Youth house in ikom.

The vice Chairman made a solemn call to all youths, stakeholders, elites, political leaders and the general public to come to the aid of the NYCN central in a bid to achieve this project.

2. Resolutions made from the reports given by the LOC Chairmen/Returning officers, as it concerns the NYCN Local government coordinators elections which was as thus:

IKOM, had it's elections supervised by the LOC Chairman and superintended  by the returning officer after reaching a consensus In all positions, this report came from the Leader of the cross river state youth parliament, Comr. Osim Mackpeace as he carefully analyzed and stated that Ikom election was very peaceful.

OBUBRA, issues were raised in the cause of the elections that led to two camps declaring  themselves winners, but at the end of the day the matter was resolved as reported in the meeting and one candidate was declared winner.

ETUNG, had elections, The LOC Chairman did justice to the matter as he gave a comprehensive report that the election was held, the coordinator and all other offices were unanimously agreed to be consensus only for the deputy coordinator which was contested and a winner emerge and is under control.

YAKURR, is still having issues as the LOC Chairman said he didn't conduct any elections and we are looking forward to resolving the issue.

BOKI, The returning officer didn't supervised, nor declare a winner, neither did he returned any results and stated clearly that there was no election and the VC central affirm to the fact that there was truly no elections.
 
ABI, From the report, one of the factions are saying that, there was election, while the other faction stated that there was no election.

The VC Central, Engr. Sunnyskippo Nchu Otu and other stakeholders present, accepted the reports and agreed to reschedule another meeting to critically resolve all issues Even, as they pledge their total commitment in championing the cost. 

Furthermore, the VC admonished youths of central to always adhere strictly to the laid down rules and the supremacy of the NYCN constitution for the purpose of peace.

Conclusively, A decision was taken by the stakeholders that on no account should any one parade himself or herself as coordinator of any local government with outstanding issues regards the Elections captured herein.
