The National Directorate of Employment’s (NDE) over the weekend trained no fewer than entrepreneurs in Cross River State under its Enterprises and Finance Counselling Clinic.
The 5-day training programmes was designed to equip aspiring entrepreneurs to master the various skills needed to succeed in their chosen careers..
Flagging off the programme at the Federal Secretariat Calabar, the state capital, the Director General of NDE, Mallam Abubakar Fikpo, said the participants would be issued certificates of attendance that would qualify them for soft loans from the NDE and other financial institutions.
Represented by the State Coordinator of NDE, Mr Gabe Uda, the The Director General said the certificates would be provided to the 50 participants drawn from the 18 Local Government Areas of the state, all through the training programme.
He noted that specialists in the area of Enterprise and Finance Management have been consulted to deliver lectures on some critical areas.
