The leading aspirant for the Boki/Ikom Federal Constituency race, Mr. Abang Pius Besong, on Monday payed a consultative visit to HRM Otu Fredaline Akandu, the Paramount Ruler of Boki LGA in a bid to seek for blessings ahead of 2023 general elections.
Mr. Abang, CEO of Ab Amani Jojo Global Concept was accompanied by Hon. Ikobi Ikobi who is currently toping the charts of PDP aspirants to contest for the Boki 1 State Constituency elections. Hon. Ikobi lkobi, a one-time Councilor of the Boki council and former member of the Cross River State Carnival Commission (CRSCC) resigned after the state Governor's defection to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Both Mr. Abang Pius Besong and Hon. Ikobi Ikobi are both contesting under the platform of the People's Democratic Party, PDP.
The Monarch, upon blessing his two sons who came to consult him, The paramount ruler said Mr Abang Pius Besong and Hon Ikobi Ikobi, are the first set of people to consult him of their political ambition for 2023. According to the paramount ruler "I am giving you two the first blessings from the depth of my heart, to go and come back victoriously".
