In a show of support for Jude Ngaji, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Saturday by election for Ogoja / Yala Federal Constituency of Cross River State, Governors Nasir el-Rufia of Kaduna State, Dave Umahi of Ebonyi State and Abubakar Muhammadu Badaru of Jigawa State stormed Okpoma for APC’s campaign grand finale.

Led by the host governor, Sir Ben Ayade, the governors urged voters not to be deceived by what they described as dangerous antics of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
They therefore, urged the people to cast their votes for Ngaji "for true dividends of democracy.”

On his part, the host governor, Professor Ben Ayade declared that the outcome of the by-election in Ogoja/ Yala federal constituency and Akpabuyo state constituency will finally seal the fate of PDP in Cross River.

"Cross River has socketed to the centre; Cross River is now firmly APC. The results on Saturday will confirm this", Ayade said.
Earlier in his remark Ngaji, a former State Security Adviser to the governor, pledged to provide quality representation to his constituents in the green Chamber if elected.
