The Cross River state Secretary to Government Barr Tina Banku Agbor has pledged to collaborate the UN volunteer group Green Base Africa Support Assembly for Economic and Social Cooperation (GASASEC) to enable them achieve their set goals.
She gave the pledge in her office in Calabar when the state executive coordinator, Cross river and south south, Ambassador Afolabi Obalola paid her a familiarization visit.
Barr Agbor said it was gratifying to see young men and women coming together with a view to take care of developments in the society She informed them of her personal efforts in aiding the development of the girl child through her NGO, the Golden Reach Foundation and expressed her support to them.
Speaking earlier, Ambassador Afolabi said their mandate was to serve and protect the interest of humanity as equal in rights and in dignity. This he said is to be achieved through friendly engagement that can bring the vulnerable persons to get desired social economic benefits and sued for partnership between the group and her office.
