PDP Boki Chapter Chairman, Mr. Fabian Okwajie receives defecting Beebo/Bumaji faithful into PDP

Hundreds of the All progressive Congress faithful in Bibuo/Bumaji ward Boki LGA have formally defected to the People Democratic Party (PDP).

The defectors, who came from all villages of the Bibuo/Bumaji ward of Boki LGA of Cross River state, were received by the Chapter Chairman Mr. Fabian Okwajie, alongside other leaders like Hon. Ikobi Ikobi, Commissioner in the Cross River state Tourism Bureau, Hon Chris Ncha, SA. to the Cross River State Governor on small scale Business,  Hon. Emmanuel Obi, SA to the Governor on Conflict resolution. Other leaders from the ward who were present are; Mr Peter Otu and Mr Eliman Eliman.

Speaking at the event, the Chapter Chairman urged the defectors to be of good behaviour and work conscientiously for the party’s victory in 2023.

“We are a discipline party. We are a party that encourages people, build people and take care of people.

According to Okwajie, "We have no other business than taking care of the welfare of our people.

He said, Today is a remarkable day and I want to welcome you all to this great party, which is for all Nigerians.

Mr Fabian Fabian Okwajie explain to the defectors that this party will make all of us proud. The party believes in the rule of law.

SA to the Governor on conflict  resolution Hon. Emmanuel Obi said, their defection to PDP shows that this party is the best for Cross Riverians and Nigeria.

“We are growing stronger and stronger everyday and our growth will be felt in the 2023 general elections.

Also, A commissioner at Carnival Commission Hon. Ikobi Ikobi who is from beebo-Bumaji ward, Commended the defectors for their “bold decision”.

He said that the party’s doors are still open for more prospective defectors.

The spokesman of the defectors, Mr Austin  pledged to be law abiding and deliver beebo/Bumaji to PDP in all elections. “We have realised our mistake and lost our political root.

He further explain that today, we are here to tell you, we are sorry and we are pleading you forgive us and take us back as your children.

Others leaders from beebo-Bumaji ward also commended the efforts of the PDP Chapter chairman mr. Fabian Okwajie and his entourage for finding time to visit the good people of beebo - Bumaji ward.
