Where are Ayade's Appointees? - Modlin Odu chides

 

Where were the over 6,000 appointees of Government when the State was held hostage by hoodlums  for more than 36 hours? 

    The above question was posed by the SA on media to the Senator representing the Cross River State Central Senatorial District as the state was thrown into a state of Chaos in the past five days. She added that "Not more than 10 of them including Commissioners were seen on the street with well meaning Cross Riverians trying to prevent further damages." 

While she suggested that by now, the Governor should have realized that the number of liabilities he has in the name of appointees is quite overwhelming.

   They are all paid by the State but vanished into thin air when it mattered most. Some were hiding in their houses writing and sharing numerous press releases and others were just making irrelevant statements in their usual wild goose chase for popularity. 

   Thank God normalcy has returned to the State. She added that It is our collective responsibility to protect Cross River State but more responsibility for those feeding and surviving from the State's treasury.
