Rev. (Dr) P.J Ochang’s Charitable Heart and Love for Humanity

The nonprofit sector and Philanthropic tradition in Nigeria has been increasingly active in charitable causes. Through the years, charity has progressed from individual charitable acts of helping the poor to more organized philanthropy, such as corporate social responsibility. It's today mostly common among Christian Churches and most importantly, Pastors. 

This year has been very Challenging in Nigeria, because of the COVID-19 pandemic ravaging global economies since December 2019. According to a critical analytics, kind hearted Philanthropic Nigerians has relieved poor families in the country, more than the Government.

Rev. (Dr) Prince Justice Ochang; a man anointed by God, elected by grace and sent to run with God’s divine mandate to establish His kingdom here on earth and to bless humanity. He is the presiding pastor of Celebrities For Christ Church – Light Embassy; one of the fastest growing churches in the Abuja axis with ground-breaking results. He pastors hundreds of worshippers spread across the Federal Capital Territory with Church auditorium presently located at Ruga Junction, Aso Road in Maraba, Abuja, Nigeria.

He’s married to Pst. Mrs. Laurita Ochang and a Native of Oku-aro In Boki Local Government Area of Cross River State, Nigeria.

Rev. (Dr) P.J Ochang takes great pleasure in helping the less privilege. This has led to his constant outreaches during festive period and on casual occasions which has contributed immensely to the society through his welfare programmes and schemes such as the notable students lunch support, welfare packages, free medical outreaches, gifts to the orphanages, poor and indigent people, prisons, physically challenged amongst others.

Born in December 25th, Rev. Dr. Ochang has proven to be a replica of Christ. Generally, Pastors are known for winning souls into the vineyard of God and mentoring Christians not to exit the gate of Christendom. But Rev. Ochang is going far beyond.

Quoting from Titus 3:4; “But when the goodness, generosity and benevolence of God our Savior and His love for humanity appeared [in human form as the Man, Jesus Christ], He saved us, not because of any works of righteousness we have done, but because of His own compassion and mercy.

The above scripture verse could be easily attributed to the Philanthropic Rev. Dr. Ochang. 

The COVID-19 pandemic has brought new focus to the need to support University students’ basic needs to increase their comfort and boost their success obtaining degrees. As campuses across the country shut down.

After seeing that thousands of students found themselves without shelter, food, and income. Rev. Dr. P.J Ochang started his Students launch initiative which has sustained hundreds of students in Boki, Cross River State and across the Nation.

In Abuja, the Rev. Dr. Ochang has extended his Love severally to his members, and most importantly the “Meal after the word” initiative still being observed in His Church. He has also taken his charitable heart to the street of Abuja to celebrate and give to street beggars, orphanages and the poor.

Rev. Dr. Ochang who is a prophet by calling, has blessed the lives of thousands of Nigerians through his resounding messages and ministry in different states of the Nation alongside his lovely Wife, LauRita.

Rev. Dr. Ochang has expressed his love in several ways. He has sponsored young people across Nigeria to learn lucrative Skills, and build Businesses. Hundreds have been empowered.

Rev. Dr. Ochang is a good man, a Philanthropist, one who loves humanity and believes nobody deserve to suffer.
