“Okundi Deserves to be an Ultra-Modern Town In Boki” Says Pst. John Ewa

• Unveils transformational plan for Okundi and the rest of Boki

• Holds Meeting with Osokom Clan

• Sues for General Peace in Boki LGA

The Executive Chairman of Boki Local Government Area, Hon (Pst) John E. Ewa has said Okundi Community deserves to be an Ultra-Modern Town in the LG Area.

This was said in a town hall meeting with the Osokom Clan in Boki LGA on Monday, as he unvield his transformational plans for major towns and the rest of the Boki Nation.

According to a report from his media; the three hours meeting had in attendance all clan heads, Chiefs, youths and members of both Executive and Legislative council of Boki Local Government Area.

The Report also stated that Hon. Ewa consolidated with the communities on the loss of their sons in the previous cult clash, he revealed his intention to carry out a peace tour round Boki within weeks. He also disclosed his plans to transform Okundi market, to give it a more strategic and standardized look.

In his words; "Okundi deserves to be an ultra modern town. But how can this happen without peace in the land? Look aroud, you will notice that no Boki son has a running business within, not even an hotel. Go to Ogoja, to ikom and several other towns around and you would find hotels of Boki sons raised everywhere. We must give peace a chance  to ensure seamless development"  he said.

Responding, the clan heads of Osokom appreciated the Council Chairman for his tenacity and passion for peace. He stated that they have enjoyed a much improved calm in the past two months. He  pledged on behalf of the communities an unwavering support for his transformational strides, adding that he is destined by God to lead Boki as Chairman in a time like this.
