Bishop Dr. Emmah Gospel Isong who doubled as the National Patron, Nigerian Union of Journalists South South and Chairman, Cross River State Anti-Tax Agency has put on a mediation meeting with the Nigerian Union of Journalist in Cross River State.
The fruitful peace/mediation meeting was held today, Sunday August 30, 2020 at Transcorp Hotel, Calabar.
Facilitating the meeting, Bishop Emmah the mediator, sue for peace and unity between the leadership of the National Union of Journalist and the State Government.
The NUJ has assured to retract their directives as well as averred to path unity in other to apprise the public.
Bishop Emmah, gratified the Governor, His Excellency, Professor Ben Ayade for being a peacemaker and conciliator in the State, he however affirmed that the unity will bring both party's to our desired promise land.
In attendance at the mediation meeting were; Pst .Mrs. Rosemary E. Archibong; Hon. Comm. Commerce, Mr. Eric Anderson; Hon. Comm. Tourism, Mr. Christian ITA, SA to the Gov on Media & Publicity, Hon. Stanely Nsemo; DG SEA, Mr. Maurice Inok (GM CRBC), Hon. Effiong Ekpenyong; SSA to the Cross River State Governor and Hon. Eric Udayi; Member, Safety Commission.
