The Executive Governor Of Cross River State, His Excellency Senator Professor Benedict Bengioushuye Ayade has earlier today paid a condolence visit to the family of Late Distinguished Senator Dr Rose Okoji Oko In her dwelling place.
The late lawmaker, was an emblematic representative of Cross River North Senatorial District and second term Senator, who is Chairman, Senate Committee on Trade and Investment, was aged 63.
Late Senator Rose Oko was the first female representative in her senatorial district before she succumbed to the disease after a long fought battle with physical affliction on high blood pressure.
The Governor, Ben Ayade who visited the bereaved family on this day; Thursday, September 3rd, 2020, at her abode in Abuja, described the late senator as an amazing Icon and princess of the ogoja nation affirming that, her death is indeed an eclipse at noon.
Senator Ayade, however, consoled the families and friends in her abode, he supplicates for a happy repose of her soul in eternity.
