Update on the 2020 international youth day celebration...
The Vice Chairman Central, NYCN Cross River State Chapter, His Youthfulness Engr. Nchu sunnyskipo otu after meeting with the State working committee in preparation for the 2020 international youth's day celebration, adopted the following;
That the Nigeria theme for this year international youths day celebration is:
"YOUTHS ENGAGEMENT FOR GLOBAL ACTION"
In a statement signed by Comr. Agbor simon Besong - Chief Press Secretary, for Vice Chairman-central, National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Cross River State Chapter; stated
"That the international youth's day celebration shall be on Tuesday 12th of August, 2020
"That all LGAs youths and their executives may not travel to calabar for the celebration because of the ravaging Covid-19 pandemic, and the NCDC rules of avoiding crowded places / observing social distancing
"That all LGAs should mark the youth's day celebration in their respective local government areas with a road work, campaign against Cultism, rape, kidnapping and all form of social vices
"That they shall immediately after the road work / campaigns begin an interactive session at each LGA headquarters
"Meanwhile, all Cross River State youth council appointees from central based in calabar are advised to participate.
"...we shall be communicated as other events unfold
