The Cross River State House of Assembly, has adopted a motion to sumon the State Commissions for works, Mr. Dane Osim Asu, over the crisis that just broke out between Biakwan and Biajua in Abo Ward, Boki 1, Boki Local Government Area of the State
In a motion of urgent public importance, brought before the house, by the member representing Boki 1, state Constituency, Rt. Hon Itam Abang, explains that, the information got to her on Thursday morning, that crisis broke out as a result of the quest to acquire land for Ayade Farms by the said Commissioner.
The Boki 1 member lamented that it is shameful for appointees of Government to use the Governor's name in acquiring lands, instead of the Commissioner for Lands, according to the member, several persons were wounded, as a result of the crisis.
After a thorough deliberation by members, it was then resolved that, security agents be deployed to the area, for the security of lives and properties.
And that, the Commissioner for Work to appear before the house and offer public explanation.
