Engr. Kingsley A. Odok today, 31st day of December in the year of our Lord Jesus Christ 2019, marks his father's ten (10) years remembrance and launching of the John Coach Foundation
The occasion had in attendance men and women of repute, amongst them are;

2. Bar. Basil Osima (cooperate Affairs Commission Abuja)
3. Mr. Eddy George (Larfarge cements, Calabar)
4. Chief. Tony Awusa
5. Chief. Dr. Peter Achua
When asked what his motivating factor was, Engr. K. A. Odok said, "Each time I visit my hometown Borum-Ebam and see the sufferings, hardships and yearnings of my people I am moved with utmost concern for the teeming teenagers who out circumstances have become dropouts and preys to cultists recruiters."
"My heart bleeds and wished I had the resources to assist everyone in such a situation. But like is obvious, the resources are limited. notwithstanding we have to do the best we can to improve humanity.
Engr. K. A. Odok continued, "In a way of making the society a better place, impacting values, morals, ethics and raising the educational standard in our locality to an enviable heights, I have after proper consultations with my family, friends, colleagues and associates decided to raise a foundation in remembrance to my late father, Late. Mr. John Odok Bisong (aka John coach) who passed on the 10th August, 2019. Ten (10) years ago."
"This foundation will live to standard and will through support and assistance from my friends see to paying fees for less privileged secondary school students, catering for WAEC registration and other educational grants within my reach."
For 2019/2020 academic session we wish to pay WAEC registration fees to a total number of forty (40) intelligent but less privileged children which will amount to one million, four hundred thousand naira only (N1,400,000.00).
"To me, whatever contributions I make to humanity, I see it as my little way of showing appreciation, gratitude and being thankful to God Almighty for life and uncountable unmerited favors and blessings my family and I have received." Engr. K. A. Odok, said.
The Philanthropist and Proud Boki son from Borum-Ebam in Oku, Borum-njua ward, Osokom 2 clan is well known across crannies of Boki and beyond for his passionate, humanitarian and selfless service to mankind.
In the chairman's opening speech, the foundation Chairman, Dr. Peter Achua thanked all present for their time, resources and efforts in making the event a reality and huge success.
"Our father was a community leader, politician, football coach and mentor defender of Boki territory, mediator and initiator of peace. He was a charismatic leader who lived his life for the service of God and humanity" Chief. Dr. Peter Achua said.
He continued "In this occasion of launching of John Coach Foundation (JCF) and inauguration of foundation Board Of Trustees, we call on friends, political associates, philanthropist and well meaning Nigerians to support the John Coach Foundation to contribute it's quarter to the less privileged in our society to acquire both formal and informal education."
" John coach was a household name in Boki especially to the politicians and Sport lovers. He owned some ideologies which this foundation wishes to pursue.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES.
For the purpose of this foundation, the board of trustees is responsible for;
1. Developing and approving the foundation's visions, missions, strategic goals and objectives statement to guide the administration of the foundation and to monitor their implementation.
2. To establish policies related to programs and services of the foundation.
3. To improve the annual budget and to set major programs for the foundation in order to improve lives of less privileges in Boki nation and Cross River State at large.
4. To serve as an advocate for the foundation with the general public and other levels of government.
ROLES OF BOARD OF TRUSTEES.
1. DUTY OF CARE:- Take care of the nonprofit foundation by ensuring prudent use of all assets, including facility, people and good will.
2. DUTY OF LOYALTY:- Ensure that nonprofit activities and transactions are first and foremost, advancing it's mission; recognise and disclose conflicts of interest, make decisions that are in the best interest of the nonprofit corporation, 'not in the best interest of the individual board member (or any other individuals for profit identity).
3. DUTY OF OBEDIENCE:- Ensure that the nonprofit foundation obeys applicable laws and regulations, follow it's own bylaws and that the foundation adheres to its stated corporate purposes/missions.

Amb. Joseph Bana Speaking in support of the foundation pledged to influence admission to any University for any of the beneficiaries who would make his/her papers in waec including maths and English and pay their first year school fees in the tertiary institution.
Parents of the beneficiaries unanimously thanked Engr. K. A. Odok for the generosity and goodwill of thought to reach out to the less privileged in the society.
Miss. Dibang Susan Etta one of the beneficiaries thanked Engr. Kingsley Odok, his family and the entire JCF foundation for the support in making her a reckoning force in academics in the future.
