BANJUARE BOKI FESTIVAL: A STORY TO BE TOLD

The maiden edition of BANJUARE BOKI FESTIVAL 2019 phased out yesterday with an historic Grand Finale held at Late, Amb. Dr. M. T. Mbu's Villa, Okundi - Boki LGA. The Grand Finale featured the crowning of Boki King (KESAD) and the Queen (BUSEH) in a thrilling and thorough pageantry contest.

The classic Grand Finale of BANJUARE BOKI FESTIVAL had Mr. Zebis Prince as the Compere of the 8 hours program and Precious Jabe Besong as his Co. The audience was treated to mouthwatering pieces of musical, Dance and Comedy arts by a fleet of inspiring Boki entertainment Stars. The night was mesmerized by sumptuous plots of artistry led by PERO E, CHALLENGE NJI, NARROW 12, SEXZY MARTINNA, JAY CIPHER, CORNEL, Matrix Masters and Daddy Shioke etc. Minds were blown off and the desire for a bigger, better BANJUARE BOKI FESTIVAL for the next edition came to bear.

The Festival which hit the media space with a sustained momentum some weeks ago left a high sensation in Boki land as it opened up parallel line of possibilities to solving some of the social problems  Boki Nation is currently struggling with. 

BANJUARE BOKI FESTIVAL has engineered a new dialog construct amongst Boki people and introduced new dimensions of mending broken social walls among the young people of Boki. This event has ensued a social orientation that is returning the lost moral values amongst Boki youths and at the same time, instigating the blend of Culture and economic boost in Boki.  BANJUARE BOKI FESTIVAL has engendered the creation and integration of a social identity of Boki Culture and its premier Value Chains. This project is becoming a router that shows just how Boki can take its place in stardom. 

The pleasant experience story of the maiden edition of BANJUARE BOKI FESTIVAL is left to be told by the people of Boki at home and visitors  alike who witnessed the curative impact this event is having on the healing process of boki’s broken Peace and Unity. In the words of Rev. Gabriel Unim who was a representative Judge for the pageantry 

“ This event has corrected my impression about Boki people. I now believe the people of Boki can live together in peace with each other. I live in Ugep Osokom, a war zone in this axis, but I can see the people mixing up here in happiness. This are the kind of ideas that should be supported instead of cultism. Please Organizers of this event don’t relent because you are solving the disharmony problem of Boki in a big way through this event”.

BANJUARE BOKI FESTIVAL has shorn the light in a direction where Boki can be redeemed of the rod that is dissipating its society away from development. The right values that can enhance coexistence through social interaction with shared culture, traditions and tongue has been put in perspective through the introduction of BANJUARE BOKI FESTIVAL. The weeklong event promoted the Eco Tourism of Boki, its Arable land and rich Agricultural resources.
The BANJUARE BOKI FESTIVAL has won commendation home and abroad. Many sects of the Boki community are looking forward to participating in the next edition of this project. More people have voted in their total involvement in the  biggest socio cultural event Boki land has yet experienced, and they are ensuing for a wider incorporation of relevant stakeholders in the next edition. 
The success story of the maiden edition of BANJUARE BOKI FESTIVAL is made up of disappointments, betrayal, fear and mockery. Seeing this event to a logical end posed a challenge that looked nearly impossible but the Willpower of sacrifice, dare and commitment reaped the fatling of the project.

This project from its initiation maintained a purely social goal putting in the gallery every flick of politics and its exasperating chauvinistic appetite. I make bold to boast that the maiden edition of BANJUARE BOKI FESTIVAL was singlehandedly sponsored by a few passionate Boki youths. As expected, having shunned every trapping of politics in conducting and organizing this event, the project was destitute by the money bags of Boki, and this became the biggest inspiration for the initiators and organizers to employ every means that saw the project successfully birthed.

At this point, it is pristine and humane to acknowledge the architects of this dream come-through. To Hon. Ikobi Ikobi and Akobor George Abiam and everyone who went the extra mile to cross the red line of their means to see out this event, to those who poured out their souls for the realization of this feet; individuals who showed genuine motives of charting Boki to the place where it belongs, God bless your effort and cause our sacrifices to bear fruits in time and eternity.

As better plans are being hatched for the next edition, we are announcing to the business community in Boki and environs to be ready to partner with this welcoming dimension of developing Boki. We are announcing that the next edition is going to be mind-blowing. The media products of the event saturating the media space from the beginning of last week are pieces of artifacts creating the delectable story of how far this project succeeded.

BANJUARE BOKI FESTIVAL 2019 opened up greater and better perspectives of improving the quality of the event. It revealed the cold economic potentials of expansion and excited the inner power the project has to put Boki in the map of national development.
