He spoke at length about his involvement with PDP in the past and also pointed out the reason he had left the party before. How he was supposedly abandoned by some of the party leaders when they had a misunderstanding.
He gave special acknowledgement to Amb. Soni Abang, Dr. Pius Tawo and Hon. Hillary Bisong for being the brains behind the peace negotiation and amnesty programme they now enjoy.
He also gave special recognition to the Governor, Sen. Prof. Ben Ayade for his magnanimity and charity towards them. He went further to say that Gov. Ayade is the best Governor in the history of Cross River and as such he is ready to support him.
He also promised that he and his group will be law abiding and that none of them will be involved in arms bearing during the elections.
