Following the approval of the Governor of Cross River State, Governor Ben Ayade of issuance of employment letters to successful candidates of the Cross River State teaching and Non-teaching job, the Cross River State Universal Basic Education Board (CRSUBEB) has released names of Two Thousand, Two Hundred and Twenty (2,220) successful candidates that applied for Teaching and Non-Teaching staff positions to fill the vacancies created by retirements and deaths in the primary school system.

In a report signed by Dr. (Barr.) Stephen A. Odey, the Executive Chairman of the Board says that the successful candidates were selected purely on merit based on the limited vacancies available.
By this information, Successful candidates are to proceed to collect their employment letters:
- West African People’s Institute (WAPI), Calabar Assembly Hall
- Tuesday, 22nd January, 2019 at 10:00am.
They are also expected to carry their original and photocopies of their credentials enclosed in file jackets along with them.
However, The Board is expressed their gratitude to Governor Ayade for reducing the unemployment level in the State by creating employment opportunities for Cross Riverians and boosting the staff strength of the Basic Education Sector for effective service delivery.
