Ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo in Boki, Read what brought him to Boki
A photo of Ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo in Boki surfaced the internet some months ago.
The photo which cause great stir in the internet, with people wondering exactly what the Statesman mission in Boki was, was it political? Was it administrative? Or maybe even a condolence visit.
Amazingly, none of the above mentioned brought him to Boki. The former President visit was more of leisure (for tourism). He came to see the Drill Ranch in Buanchor.
The visit which was said to be motivated by a courtesy to the Ex-President by Liza Gadsby & Peter Jenkins the founders of the Pandrillus foundation in his home in Abeokuta, where there also discussed about his chimpanzee.
You can bet he was impressed and happy about the work going on with there because he in appreciation gave his personal chimpanzee named Patience to the Park to add to the number of chimpanzees.
The Pandrillus Foundation (The foundation in-charge of the Ranch) has been doing understandably well in running the park. Kudos to them.
