Elections are approaching and from my observation of things around and people's opinions it seems The people's Democratic Party (PDP) is losing its stand as the favourite party of the Boki populace.

I wrote an article about some of the reasons, I promise a continuation and I'll like to say that I'm honored to bring you the continuation.

The N-power programme is also a major factor why PDP is losing its stand. As many of the beneficiaries have a sense of indebtedness to the All Progressive Congress (APC) because it's an APC government that gave them the job.

Another factor not to be overlooked is the Current One-Meal-A-Day Programme that just started in Boki Local Government Area a week ago. As the populace know that the programme is a dividend of an APC government, so they may choose to support APC Chairmanship and Councillorship to keep the goodies flowing.

The normal human desire for change could also spell trouble for the People's Democratic Party (PDP) as for a long time PDP has been the ruling party in Boki LGA and there has been no remarkable project to the credit of the Local Government so the populace may choose to try out another Government which will be to the detriment of the People's Democratic Party (PDP).

Finally, I would like to say that this is just an observation, and it should be taken as an observation and nothing else. The focus on the All Progressive Congress is dIs deliberate as it is the only party that is currently rivaling the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in the Local Government and the Nation in general. This shouldn't be taken as some indirect campaign for the All Progressive Congress (APC) but just a call on the People's Democratic Party (PDP) Elites and those who wish to run for the Local Government Elections this year under the party's umbrella to tighten their belts and roll up their sleeves as it may not be business as usual for the Party.

Best Regards.
